Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancers in the United States. According to The National Cancer Institute, 21,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2014 and approximately 15,000 will die from this disease.
Because symptoms of ovarian cancer are non-specific, most women are diagnosed at the latter stages of the disease. Still, funding for research or to help these patients is much less than other forms of cancer. Please help us provide assistance to the women and families who should not have to fight alone.
